Deepotsav celebration to begin with the departure of tableaux on Rampath

Ayodhya, Oct 16 (UNI) The main Deepotsav celebrations will begin on October 19, as tableaux based on the life of Lord Shri Ram, prepared by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, will depart from Kamta Prasad Sunderlal Saket College in Ayodhya for Rampath.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh will flag off the tableaux departing from Kamta Prasad Sunderlal Saket College for Ramkatha Park.
Divisional Commissioner Ayodhya Rajesh Kumar said that the city of Ayodhya is once again set to witness a grand confluence of lights.
"This time, the Deepotsav, to be held on October 19, will witness a remarkable confluence of grandeur and divinity. A world record will be set by lighting over 2.6 million lamps at Ram Ki Paidi, while the procession emanating from Saket College will be the centre of attraction," he said.
He said, "This year, the procession will include 21 tableaux, which are being prepared on the Saket College campus. Seven tableaux will be from the Tourism Department, depicting scenes from the Ramayana, from the Bala Kand to the Lanka Kand. At the same time, a glimpse of the development works done in the country, state, and Ayodhya will be presented in 14 tableaux."
Divisional Commissioner Kumar said that with the inspiration of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this year's procession will be grander than before.
He said, "Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh will flag off the procession at 10 a.m. on October 19. The procession will reach Ramkatha Park, where CM Yogi Adityanath will welcome it. Flower showers along the entire route and cultural performances by artists from different states will make the festival of lights even more grand. When Ayodhya is bathed in the glow of lamps, the entire world will be filled with Ram."
